What is the Aave Dashboard?

The Aave Dashboard is the user interface that aggregates your Aave protocol activity: supplied assets, borrowed amounts, health factor, variable vs stable rates, and governance links. It presents both portfolio-level and per-asset details so users can monitor exposure, rewards, and liquidation risk in one place.

Key panels and what they mean

  • Portfolio summary: total collateral supplied, total borrowed, and current Health Factor — a single-number indicator of liquidation risk.
  • Asset list: all tokens you’ve supplied or borrowed with current APY, available liquidity, and a quick action (supply/withdraw/borrow/repay).
  • APY & Rewards: real-time variable and stable interest rates plus any ongoing liquidity mining rewards or emissions.
  • Positions & History: transaction history, previous supplies/borrows, and incentives claimed.
  • Risk & Parameters: LTV, liquidation threshold, and liquidation bonus per asset — used to calculate borrowing capacity and liquidation risk.

How to use the dashboard (step-by-step)

  1. Connect your Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) using the top-right connect button.
  2. Review your Portfolio summary to check the Health Factor — aim for a buffer above 1.5 to reduce liquidation risk.
  3. To supply assets: select an asset, enter an amount, and confirm the transaction. Pay attention to gas fees and network.
  4. To borrow: choose the asset and amount according to your available borrowing power (expressed as % of LTV).
  5. Use the rewards/APY panel to decide whether to switch between variable and stable rates or to deposit into other assets.

Best practices & safety tips

  • Maintain a healthy buffer: keep your Health Factor well above 1.0 to avoid liquidations.
  • Understand rate mode: variable rates can move quickly; choose stable rate for predictability when available.
  • Check token-specific parameters: not all assets have the same LTV or liquidation thresholds.
  • Beware of cross-protocol exposure: collateral across multiple DeFi protocols can multiply liquidation vectors.
  • Double-check contract addresses and only use the official Aave app URL when connecting wallets.
